Data Protection and Appointment of a DPO
As an educational institution, regardless of your location, some of your Eduka users are EU citizens. This means you are subject to compliance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) for your school.
Eduka Suite now allows you to designate your DPO and provides a set of data protection recommendations directly from the Configuration Module.
AEFE Scholarship Adjustments with EDUKA
The Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) offers scholarships to French children abroad to cover all or part of their tuition fees. The second application campaign is currently underway, and schools may need to adjust previously issued invoices accordingly.
If a scholarship is awarded or modified after invoicing, a recalculation of the invoices may be necessary. With EDUKA, these adjustments are automated through the batch process and our recalculation function, allowing for quick issuance of credit notes or additional invoices without affecting other fees.
